SCHS Hosted the Annual Walsworth Yearbook Workshop on Thursday - Wins the Walsworth Gallery of Excellence Award!
South Callaway R-II High School hosted the annual Walsworth Yearbook Workshop on campus September 18. There was around 115 students and advisers from nine different school districts in workshops presented by Walsworth Publishing, Fulton, Missouri. Students met in the Performing Arts Center as well as various computer labs from 8:00 am until approximately 2:30 pm.

Returning yearbook staff members Reece Pahl, Deacon Daugherty, and Mattie Pritchard accept the Walsworth Gallery of Excellence Award for the 2024-2025 Callawegian Yearbook: A Day in the Life. This distinction is awarded to yearbooks that consistently demonstrate superior quality, and selected yearbooks are highlighted at workshops, training events, in online galleries, and in printed classroom resources all over the country. A Day in the Life was created by editor-in-chief Ella Coleman and her staff: Russell Butcher, Colten Crocker, Deacon Daugherty, Ethan Edwards, Nathan Hecktor, Tucker Jones, Reece Pahl, Mattie Pritchard, Wesley Pritchard, and Hattie Rogers. The South Callaway High School Yearbook is produced under the direction of Mrs. Olivia Brandt, SCHS Library Media Specialist.
