The Climate & Culture Survey Results are now available!
The South Callaway R-II School district thanks all who completed one of the three surveys conducted last October. Now that the results have been analyzed, we are excited to give you an overview of the results and some information about how we use them.
The data gathered is used by the Board of Education, District Administration, and the Comprehensive School Improvement Committee to set strategic priorities, district & building goals, and create action plans that address strengths and areas in which growth is needed.
Our Bulldog Community is strongest when we work together to grow and improve. This is just the latest example of how we do that each and every day!

More STEM at the Middle School: Science,Technology, Engineering & Math Rocks!
Today, 7th graders worked on their engineering/coding projects in the library. The students had to design and build a structure for the Sphero Bolt+ robots to use. They then had to code the robots to "use" the structures. This is part of the design process learning target that asks students to use a design process to think through a task, design, prototype, and test out a design. #SCstudents#SuccessReadyCitizens

Today the ES celebrated the 2nd quarter by honoring students this morning that showed characteristics of "Responsibility" and "Bulldog Leadership." As a student of South Callaway Elementary I pledge to:
Take responsibility for my own learning and always do my best. I will behave in a way that will make myself and others proud. I will be a positive role model to other students. I will respect myself, my teachers, my school, and my peers. I will show pride in my school because I am a Bulldog!
Congratulations to our 2nd quarter award winners. It's a great day to be a Bulldog!

These works showcase the students' developing skills and commitment to the ceramic process.
Left: freshly glazed and full of potential—calm, matte, and awaiting transformation.
Right: after hours in the kiln—colors revealed, surfaces refined, and the work brought to its finished state.
