Congratulations, Mrs. Jeannie Sneller!
South Callaway R-II Middle School Science teacher Jeannie Sneller has spent the last several years working with the University of Missouri to develop ways to improve both literacy and science knowledge and process. Mrs.Sneller has been a member of Dr. William Folks' team working with the National Institutes of Health-funded project, Linking Science, Math, and Literacy for All Learners.
Through the team's work, Sneller and her colleagues have developed units of study that guide students to develop the stamina needed to tackle real scientific articles—or even in-depth questions on high-stakes tests.

Mrs. Sneller teaches 7th & 8th grade Science at South Callaway R-II Middle School. She has been employed in the district since 2015.
