Crochet Club - Meetings in Mrs. Brumfield's room first and third Thursdays starting September 4 after school till 5:15. Pick-up at the Middle School Entrance. Middle School students are invited to learn how to crochet or show off their existing skills. Together we will work on fun service projects or work on increasing our skills with Crochet. South Callaway School District School Market - What is a School Market? Our School Market shares food with students and their families at no cost. Those picking up food can choose items that will work best for their household, including ingredients that can help create fulfilling meals for the whole family. Cereal, shelf-stable milk, canned fruits and vegetables, proteins like tuna or canned chicken, meal kits, soups and more may be available at the market. Other items, like hygiene products for students, may be available at times. The school market is open to all our students. There are no requirements to receive food. How to use the School Market - The School Market is in the Middle School building in room 116. Students and their families can access the School Market before school, during the school day, or after school upon appointment. To request an appointment to access the School Market, scan the QR code or contact Cassie Oliver. Questions? Come help celebrate 65 years of SC Bands with our 2025 Legacy Night. During halftime our goal is to have as many years of SC Band represented as possible. Please help us celebrate this milestone for our program by registering below to participate in the Recognition Walk. In addition, those that register by August 25th will receive a complementary 65th anniversary logo t-shirt.

Also happening that evening will be our annual Alumni Band. If you are interested in dusting off your old instrument and playing in the stands with our current band students make sure you check the box on the registration form.

We welcomed new staff and received important updates and legislation notes from our Superintendent Corey Pontius. SC - Welcome Mr. Braden Ham! Mr. Ham will be applying his 12 years of teaching experience at the Early Childhood Learning Center where he will teach K-2 grade PE/Health & Family Education. He will also serve as the Assistant Coach for MS Boys Basketball and HS Boys Basketball. Mr. Ham holds both a BS and Master Degree and has most recently worked at Osage County R2. A recent newlywed, Mr. Ham enjoys fishing, watching TV shows, any competition. He is also an emerging cooking enthusiast. Word has it he is learning to use a mandolin and doing it the hard way. Ms. Paige Clubb actually began her career at South Callaway a long time ago - as a student, SCHS graduate, student teacher last year, and a new Kindergarten teacher in the second semester. Now it's time to welcome her officially as the holder of a BS in Elementary Education and an Early Childhood Education Teaching Certificate. Ms. Clubb will also serve as our Assistant Girls Basketball Coach in the MS.
