Each student from the Intro to ASL class created their own game to reinforce spelling.
Students gathered all the things they needed and made cards, sentences, and game boards. Students from the ES Action Team were randomly divided into each group and actively participated in all of these games. Teamwork at its finest!

The boys basketball game v Tipton has been postponed for Friday 1/23 and re-scheduled for Thursday Feb 2/19.
ENDURANCE is a running club for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grade boys. We will be meeting Mondays after school as well as Saturday mornings starting on March 2nd. If your child is interested in ENDURANCE, please click on the link to register and tell me a little bit about your child.

Aria and Autumn won the Daniel Boone Regional Book Cover Contest for our school. They each created a unique book cover for a published work and were chosen by a panel of judges from the public library. Their work and the other winners can be viewed on the library's website:

South Callaway R-II Teachers began the New Year and the second semester learning from their peers and collaborating with deep dives into the first semester student performance data. Tomorrow will be filled with more planning to get ready for our returning students on Wednesday!

This afternoon (12/22) there will be a strong law enforcement/first responder presence at the HS for a training exercise.
English IV students present children’s books they created to EC students. After Thanksgiving break, English IV students wrote their own stories and used iPages or Canva to create their books. EC students were able to enjoy these stories right before Christmas break.

5th graders enjoyed a presentation from Runge Nature Center today where they learned more about food chains and predators. This presentation went along with current science lessons to enhance the learning process.






The Climate & Culture Survey Results are now available!
The South Callaway R-II School district thanks all who completed one of the three surveys conducted last October. Now that the results have been analyzed, we are excited to give you an overview of the results and some information about how we use them.
The data gathered is used by the Board of Education, District Administration, and the Comprehensive School Improvement Committee to set strategic priorities, district & building goals, and create action plans that address strengths and areas in which growth is needed.
Our Bulldog Community is strongest when we work together to grow and improve. This is just the latest example of how we do that each and every day!
