South Callaway juniors participated in the REALL (Reality Enrichment and Life Lessons) simulation last week. This interactive experience challenged students to consider how the choices they make today can shape their future, exploring connections between education, employment, finances, and everyday responsibilities. Thank you to Kellie Pontius & Central Missouri Community Action for bringing this valuable learning opportunity to our students!

Next Saturday they will travel to Ashland for the Southern Boone Marching Classic.

Pride Band
South Callaway students got the opportunity to tour four different manufacturing companies on 09/30 to celebrate Manufacturing Day; FAB Parts, Gastineau Log Homes, PFS Brands, and nVent. Students learned how each company operates, various technologies related to each job, and various career opportunities. It was such a great experience for our students. Thank you to the Callaway Chamber of Commerce for organizing this event, and to the four businesses for taking their time to talk to our students! #rootEdMissouri

Congratulations to Coach Ham for being nominated as Missouri's Kids Heart Challenge "Hearties : Coordinator of the Year". The EC building was also awarded an NFL Play 60 Active Recess Grant from the American Heart Association this year. This well-deserved honor reflects the incredible impact our school community is making by helping students learn lifelong heart-healthy habits, prepare for cardiac emergencies, and support children with special hearts.

I recently moved here with my partner, William, and our two cats, Goob and Malt (whom we just adopted in July!). I'm excited to share my passion for history with all of you!
