The middle school years are full of transitions and growth. The SCMS counseling office is here to offer support to students and their families. Students are supported in understanding more about themselves, and they are offered help to problem solve any issues that may arise with social, academic, career concerns at home or at school.

How can students or parents/guardians request to meet with the school counselor?
Students are encouraged to visit the counselor's office for support. Students can request to meet with the counselor for non-emergencies using the Student Request to meet with the SCMS counselor form. Students can also email the school counselor or come by the office to request to set up an appointment for non-emergencies. If there is an emergency, student's should notify their teacher and they will be seen immediately.
Parents/Guardians please call or email the school counselor to set up a meeting if you have any concerns about your student's social/emotional needs, academic success, career planning, or any other questions/concerns about your student's success as school.
