Is your child having academic problems? Help is available!

Step #1: PowerSchool Parent Portal: Sign up for access in the high school office for a PowerSchool user name & password so that you can check your child’s academic progress, get bulletin updates, check lunch account balances, etc.

Step #2: Teacher Conference: Contact your child’s teachers to discuss academic progress. Click here for teacher contact information.

Step #3: Tutoring: Teachers are available before and after school for tutoring help. Have your child come to school or stay after to get tutoring help.

Step #4: Guided Study Hall: Enroll in a “Guided Study Hall” so that you can catch up on missed assignments and get tutoring help.

Step #5: STAR Program: Enroll in the STAR Program for credit recovery if you have failed several courses and want to catch up.

Step #6: Special Services Referral: If your child has a medically documented disability that impacts his/her ability to learn a special services referral is appropriate.
